ER/MD-022, Dealul Hârtopu (Soltănești), 267m
August 15, 2026: this hill is in the Nisporeni area, and up there it's clear that it's pretty high, however, the hill itself is quite flat. I installed a homebrew end-fed antenna, 20m long, made of 5 segments that can be easily disconnected, like in linked dipoles. Hence, I've got a full size multi-band antenna for 40/30/20/17/15m (plus harmonics, but they are not so relevant here). In an hour I made 15 QSOs in SSB, including one summit-to-summit with an Italian radio amateur who was on the top of a 2900m mountain in South Tyrol. I worked with about 50W power in SSB, using an Icom IC-7100 transceiver. This summit has never been activated before.
